All About the History Students' Association
A Member Association of the Student Association of the Faculty of Arts (SAFA)
The History Students' Association is the undergraduate association representing history students at the University of Ottawa in an honours, joint honours, major or minor program. The HSA serves as a liaison between the department, students, and the university at large.
The HSA is comprised of an executive team that meets weekly to ensure history students are properly represented. The HSA is also responsible for running events for history students, as community is more important more than ever.
Nicolas Michaud (He/him)
Hello everyone! My name is Nicolas Michaud (he/him), I am a student in political science and history and I'm your AÉHSA President! I'm notably interested in the history of French Canada, Europe, East Asia and in the history of conquered peoples. The decline of French in the Department and at the university at large is an issue of great concern to me and one which I aim to confront. If you need to contact me, I am available at the following email address: email@example.com.
Bradley Laferrière-Boileau (he/him)
Hi everyone! My name is Bradley Laferrière-Boileau and I’m one of the Clio co-directors. I’m in my fourth year of a Bachelor's degree specializing in History with a minor in political science. I am mainly interested in medieval history with a particular interest in social history and the use of geographic information systems (GIS) in the study of history. In my spare time, you can find me reading or working on puzzles.
